Show i ' . " : Chris Slaugh Chris Slaugh dies of heart ailment Chris N. Slaugh, 38, of Cody, Wyoming died April 27, 1983 in the Saint Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City of a heart ailment. Mr. Slaugh was born July 29, 1944 in Vernal to Melbern (Bud) Slaugh and Donna Rae Chivers Stewart. He married Linda Swain in Salt Lake City. He later married Beverly Porter in 1970 at Cody, Wyo. He was a truck driver, Vietnam veteran, member of the LDS Church, former director in the Professional Rodeo Committee, and attended Uintah High School. Survivors are his wife of Cody, Wyo.; children, Tayna Slaugh and Trent Slaugh both of Vernal, step-children, Dianne Porter and Bill Porter both of Casper, Wyo.; mother, Mrs. Ardin (Donna) Stewart of Vernal; father, Melbern (Bud) Slaugh of Rangely, Colo. ; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Angus Slaugh of Vernal; and brothers and sisters, Bob Slaugh of Roosevelt, Jay Slaugh of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Earl (Judy) Snyder of Vernal, Bonnie Bon-nie Slaugh of Salt Lake City and Rex Stewart of Kaula Lumpar, Malaysia. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Davis Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Vernal Mortuary Mor-tuary at the viewing Friday 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Dry Fork Cemetery. |
