UINTAH BASEBALL coach, Vic Anderson, left dishes out instructions to one of his baseball week. The Utes will battle Box Elder on the road Friday and will host Union, March 22. Uinvch vo baffle Bon Elder, Friday The Uintah Ute baseball team will open its season on the road, Friday at Box Elder High School in Brigharo City in a doubleheader at 1 p.m. Uintah will host Union, Tuesday, March 22 at 2:30 p.m. in a varsity and junior varsity contest. Uintah will host American Fork in a doubleheader, April 2 and the Utes' junior varsity team will take on Duchesne, April 7. The Ute varsity team will take on Orem in an away doubleheader, April 9. Uintah will host Mountain View, April 13 and will take on Provo on the road, April 16. The Ute junior varsity team will battle bat-tle the Longhorns in Altamont, April 19 and will battle the Vikings in Pleasant Grove, April 23. The Uintah team will take on Union in Roosevelt, April 26. Uin- tah's JV team" will host Altamont, April ; 28 and will battle Timpview in Vernal, ' April 30. The state meet is set for May 9-14. Uintah High School baseball coach for the 1983 season is Vic Anderson Anderson Ander-son is 1980 graduate of Weber State College Col-lege and graduated from Box Elder High School "I'm excited to be here. "Our pitching staff will consist of Mike Robbins, Randy Hawks, Pat Jenkins, Randy Nelson, Kurt Robb and maybe some sophomores. We have eight seniors on our team.
