Show Beta Nu Beta Nu chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met Monday evening, March 7 at the home of Glenda Smarr with president Susan Messenger presiding. Members gathered at the St. James Catholic Church for an educational movie on "Family." The movie was enjoyable en-joyable and informative. The program arrangements were made by Cathy Parker, who led a discussion and handed hand-ed out a questionnaire following the movie. Final plans were made for Beta Nu's taco booth to be held at the upcoming Xi Alpha Xi spring bazaar March 19 at the National Guard Armory. They also discussed plans on a grumage sale to be held April 16 at the Kingsbury Church Community room. Any grumage for donation would be appreciated. Please contact RoseMary Pike at 789-4933 or 789-5900. Discussion was opened up to the members on the upcoming Beta Sigma Phi convention planned for this spring. Laurie Swalley hosted a farewell brunch for Gwen Thompson who is moving mov-ing to Texas. Beta Nu presented her with a Utah charm and an address book which was passed around to all members. The next meeting will be held March 21 at the home of Aimee Hoffman. |
