Show Maeser 1 Eloise Alien Parker I Phone 789-2178 I V Grandchild born as birthday gift Lylis Anderson was presented a special birthday gift on March 8 with the birth of her fourth grandchild, Kyra, infant in-fant daughter of Brad and Dabra (Haslem) Anderson. She weighed 9 lbs. 10 oz and was 21 inches long. Grandparents are Jay and Lylis Anderson. Great gandparents are Lawrence and Virginia Adams, and great grandmother is Maude Anderson. Maternal grandparents are David and Barbara Haslem. Great grandparents are Leland and Fern Boyatt and Niles and Jenny Haslem. Todd Parker will be attending Snow College spring quarter. He plans to enter the field of business administration and computer science. He will be living with John Merkley and Kim Reid. Former resident of Maeser Mary Ellen Hatch of Phoenix, Arizona, flew to Miami, Florida, with her roommate for a medical convention. They spent a week in Miami. Mary Ellen is the daughter of Enid and Boyd Hatch. Clarence and Mureial Akhurst from California are visiting this week with Milt and Florance Wooley and other relatives in Vernal. They are also here on business. Florance and Clarence are brother and sister. Roger and Marlea Beckstead flew their Bonanza Aircraft to Logan last week to be with his mother, Mrs. Adelia Beckstead of Preston, Idaho. She had a heart attack and was transferred to the Logan hospital. Mrs. Beckstead has been released from the hospital and is staying with her daughter in Logan. Gordon Hacking spent Sunday afternoon after-noon with his mother Nellie Allen. Charles and Loraine Walker have a new baby daughter born Feb. 28, weighing 6 lbs. '2 oz. She will be named Andrea. She has a six year old brother Trenton. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Walker and Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Tullis. Brett Beckstead will report his mission Sunday, March 20 at the Maeser Stake Center. Marsha Fox of Salt Lake City spent the weekend in Vernal with her parents Lawrence and Alice Fox. She also visited with her sister and family, Laura and Roger Hacking. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Larsen took her mother, Mrs. Violet Merkley of Duchesne to Gunnison to visit her sister Mrs. Cleo Peterson, who is a patient in the hospital there. |
