Show UBAVC business summer classes The Uintah Basin Area Vocational Center Business Department will be offering classes summer quarter for students who want to receive training in secretarial, office management, or business management. Classes will also be available for brush-up training in skill areas such as English and mathematics. Sherry Bolton, a recent graduate of Utah State University with a masters degree in Business Education will be the instructor in the Roosevelt program. In the Vernal program, Cleo Jane Riding will be the instructor. Classes will run from June 8 through August 7 and are available from 1 :00 to 9:00 p.m. to accomodate students who are working and want to take classes in either the afternoon or evening. The open entry-open exit classes enable students work out a flexible schedule while they are receiving their training. Classes will be available in the following areas: accounting, Basic Computer Concepts, typewriting, business machines, machine transcription, tran-scription, secretarial office procedures, records management, business english, business communications, com-munications, business mathematics word processing, receptionist procedures, medical and legal office procedures, shorthand, business management, and GED preparation |
