Show Dental Health month off to a good start The National Children's Dental Health month, sponsored by the American Dental Association, got off to a great start this year in Uintah County. The Auxiliary to the Utah State Dental Association under the direction of Lisa Jolley, presented a 24 carat goldplated toothbrush to the first babv born in the month of February, which was Harley Levi Anderson, born Feb. 1. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson. To the new mother, Mrs. Jolley presented an adult toothbrush with some pamphlets about nursing bottle mouth, now to take care of your child's teeth, why you should use dental floss, and diet and dental health. Throughout the month of February, each new mother in the hospital will receive a regular adult toothbrush and the above mentioned pamphlets. Mrs. Jolley has distributed to each elementary school in the county, dental health posters for their classrooms, libraries and lunch rooms for display during the month of February. For more information, contact Lisa Jolley, Dental Health Chairman, wife of Dr. Richard Jolley. |
