OCR Text	Show Vernal to host Duchesne, Thursday Vernal Junior High's volleyball team will take on the Duchesne Eagles in Vernal, Thursday at 4 p.m. The Panthers Pan-thers will battle the West Vikings on the road, Sept. 18 and will host Roosevelt on Sept. 25. A volleyball tournament is set for Oct. 2. Vernal will also battle Altambnt during the season. "Practices are being held Monday through Friday at 6:30 p.m. We have been working on basics and fundamentals. fun-damentals. We should have a pretty good team and we should have good depth. Experienced players returning to the Vernal team are: Joan Hacking, Lisa Swain, Kim Drollinger, Kerry Jones, Sharyl Neal, Denice Smuin and Marcie McNeill," stated Vernal volleyball coach, Louise Murch.
