Show Two local club women attend California seminar Representing approximately approx-imately 70 clubwomen, Carma Bascom and Christine Benson of Vernal Ver-nal attended a regional seminar on community improvement at San Francisco, Calif., in August. Mrs. Bascom is serving as Kommon-Ettes President Presi-dent and represented Utah Junior Clubwomen. Mrs. Benson is Uintah Basin District President for the GFWC Utah Federation of Women's Clubs. In these capacities, they will be responsible for a program pro-gram designed to initiate area improvement projects pro-jects in cooperation with other community groups, public officials and private citizens. Community Improvement Improve-ment Programs is co-sponsored co-sponsored nationally by the General Federation of Women's Clubs and Sears, Roebuck and Co.
