Said applicant now roakea application applica-tion in accordance with the requirements require-ments of Section 1288x24, Chapter 62, Session Laws of Utah, 1909fto divert the said water at a point which bears south 80 degrees 28 minutes east 1,010 feet from the west quarter quar-ter corner of said Section 28, and convey it by means of a ditch for a distance of 1,397 feet, there to be used during the period and for the purpose originally intended. This application is designated in the State Engineer's office as No. a278. All protests against the granting of said application, stating the reasons rea-sons therefor, must be made by affidavit af-fidavit in duplicate, accompanied by a fee of $2.50, and filed in this office of-fice within thirty (30) days after the completion of the publication of this notice.
