Show Indian Days Set at Bluff The popular annual All Tribal Indian Day and Parade in picturesque Bluff, Utah, is scheduled for Saturday, June 12, it was announced this week by residents of the community. A number of events are scheduled following the big Bicentennial Parade, which is set for 9 a.m. The events include a candy scramble, heart spinning war sheid, ring race, dressing race, apple bobbing in the water, sack race, foot race, relay, centipede race, jumping stick, rock throwing, tug of war and the always popular fried bread contest. Horse riding events include the potato race, saddle race, pole bending, barrel racing, chicken pull and horse race-all race-all for men and girls. A big pow-wow is scheduled for 8 p.m. and will include competition Indian dancing and singing. |
