Show Men Caught After Robbery Two New Jersey men are in custody in Moab and are being charged with the theft of $150 and fraudulant use of a credit card. " The charges stem from the theft Sunday at about 7 p.m. of $150 from the cash register at Jack West Chevron station. Later that evening James Thomas Ashley and John D. Bilney were stopped and held in Monticello. Moab City Police picked them up Aug. 16 and returned them to Moab. The only other activity reported by police during the week was an accident Aug. 12. Carolyn Brown was backing a 1970 Plymouth from her driveway at 577 Cliffview Drive at 10:10 p.m. She backed across the street and her car hit a 1972 Chevrolet belonging to Clarence Matthew, Mat-thew, doing about $200 damage dam-age to the Chevrolet and $100 damage to the Plymouth. |
