Show Injuries Come From Wreck On Mountain A head-on collision was reported this week by Deputy Sheriff Carl Davis. The accident occurred oc-curred on December 30, 2 miles west of the Pack Creek Ranch and involved involv-ed a 1968 Ford driven by Royce A. Axtell of Moab, who was accompanied accom-panied by Kay C. Tan-gren, Tan-gren, also of Moab. The accident occurred as Axtell lost control of his car on the slick road and ran into a 1969 Volkswagen driven bv Paul D. Voth, 51, of Moab. Voth, and his two children, chil-dren, Mark, 12; and Troy, 9, were all hospitalized. hos-pitalized. Mark Voth received re-ceived a broken cheekbone, cheek-bone, and was transfer1 red to Grand Junction, Colorado for treatment. Mr. Voth sustained several sev-eral broken ribs and Troy received facial, lacerations. Axtell received re-ceived a bruised knee and a bruise on the face. He was cited for speed too fast for conditions. |
