Show Big Five fe&m Meeu fmm Moab girls captured their portion of the annual "Icebreaker "Ice-breaker Meet" Friday, with a combination of speed and spirit, shading the Green River Riv-er Pirates in the five-team meet. Long striding Lynne Wim-mer Wim-mer and Lozetta Edwards each took home three blue ribbons to lead the effort with Wimmer taking high point honors. She won the 100 yard dash, the long jump and ran on the winning 440 yard relay. Lozetta won the 220 yard dash and was on both the 440 relay and mile relay winners. Another Moab first went to Carri Anderson in the javelin. The top mark of the day went to Lynne Wimmer in the long jump where her mark of 17' 43A" was a foot better than the nearest competitor. Mon-ticello's Mon-ticello's Joi Randall had a fine meet with wins in the 440 yard dash and high jump. Team scores: Moab 56V2, Green River 49 ',' Monticello 42, San Juan 34, Emery 5.
