Show Johnson Family Reunion Held Descendents of George (Wash;) and Mabel Johnson met for a family reunion in American Fork Canyon recently. recent-ly. It was the first time in several years that the seven living sons and daughters were able to get together for a family visit. Most of the family brought their camping equipment equip-ment and the boys proved they hadn't forgotten how to cook outdoors as they prepared dutch oven sour dough biscuits, bis-cuits, fried potatoes, and other camp food cooked over the campfire as they did when they rode the range with their father. Present were: Mr. and Mrs. Jim(Lora) Douglass of Monti-cello, Monti-cello, Mrs. Claire Dicson, Menlo Pk., Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Arden Johnson and Janice of Orem, Ut.; Mrs. Jon Anderson and family and Mr. and Mrs. Valdon Teeples and children, Moab; Kent Johnson, John-son, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Paul Kenner and family, Montezuma Montezu-ma Creek; Mrs. Dean Black and family, West Jordan; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Johnson and son, Jerry, Granada Hills, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. John Adams and daughter, and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Johnson and Helen, Jim, and Calvin, all of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson and children of Monticello, Kathy Johnson of American Fork; Mr. and Mrs. Homer Johnson, Grand and Marily of Bountiful; Mr. and Mrs. Steve Perkins and baby, and Mr. and Mrs. George Johnson and baby of Provo. Also special guests were Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Wollen of San Antonio, Texas, the only living aunt of the seven Johnson children whose parents were early pioneers of Grand and San Juan Counties. |
