Show Spanish Club Organized at Junior High A Spanish Club has beeni organized under the direction of Spanish teacher, Mr. Michael Mich-ael Jensen. The club consists of students from both the high and junior high schools. There are 14 members from each school in the club making a total of 28. President of the club is Mark Riley with Jean-nie Jean-nie Trusty as vice president. Mr. Jensen and the officers attended the Costa Rican Independence In-dependence Day celebration in Salt Lake City last month. The Costa Rican consul, Jose Hernandez,, spoke at the event. The purpose of the club is to learn the customs and foods of Spanish speaking peo- . pies - by experiencing them. An enchilada supper and more activities for the group are among these experiences. |
