Show Sixteen Cities Represented !n Moab Jehovah's Witnesses Convention Delegates from sixteen cities located in southwestern Colorado have arrived in Moab Mo-ab for the three-day assembly being sponsored by Jehovah's Witnesses. The facilities of the Grand County High School will be used for the gathering and plans are being made to accomodate ac-comodate an expected 900 delegates. The meeting opens this Friday evening at 6:45 with a song and prayer service. At 7:00, the keynote address entitled en-titled "Keep on Doing It More Fully" will be delivered. deliver-ed. This discourse is also the "theme" that has been selected select-ed for the three-day event and will be delivered by Samuel Sam-uel B. Friend, Minister and District Supervisor for the Witnesses. Friend will serve as Chairman and appear on the program daily. At 7:15 p.m., a model Ministry School session that is held weekly in all Kingdom Halls of Jehovah's Witnesses will be presented. This portion will last for one hour and will include discussions, and demonstrations dem-onstrations on how to apply Bible principles in our daily lives. Five visiting ministers will assist Friend in deveop-ing deveop-ing this school session. At 8:15 p.m., Eugene W. Seele, Jr., Circuit minister will supervise a practical Service Ser-vice Meeting, using talks, question" and answer method and demonstrations showing how a Christian may carry on his ministerial activities in a practical way. The Friday evening program will conclude con-clude with song and prayer at 9:15. The Saturday morning session ses-sion will open at 9:00 with the subject "We Worship What We Know" being discussed. dis-cussed. The Bible theme is based on the scripture from John 4:22 of the Holy Bible. At 9:15 a.m. an ordination and baptism ceremony will be presented. This discourse will last for 30 minutes and will be followed by a total water immersion to those being be-ing ordained. At 9:45 a.m. the assembly will be dismissed in order that the delegates may make personal visits on the people in the Moab area and surrounding towns, inviting them to the evening session that begins at 6:55. i The evening session will begin with a song folowed by. experiences. At 7:00 a two-hour two-hour meeting will begin demonstrating dem-onstrating how people today can fully share in "Keep On Doing It More Fully". The District supervisor, S. S. Friend will chairman this portion of the program and will be assisted by ministers from visiting ' congregations. The Saturday evening session will conclude with song and prayer at 9:00 Sunday morning at 9:00, the conventoin will open with song and prayer followed by a sermon entitled "Declaring Jehovah's Name In All The Earth". This discourse will be high-lighted with demonstrations demon-strations showing how God's name is being carried to most lands of the earth. The 9:30 a.m. assembly will be dismissed at 2:00 p.m. when the highlight of the three-day three-day convention will be reached. At this time, the subject entitled "Can You Live Forever? - Will You?", will be presented by S. B. Friend. This discourse will last for one hour. At 3:30 p. m. the regular scheduled study stu-dy of the Watchtower as a Bible aid will be conducted. At 4:00 p.m., the Circuit Supervisor, Su-pervisor, E. W-. Seele, Jr., will speak to the assembly using as his theme "Preparing "Prepar-ing For The Trails Ahead". At 4:30, the concluding talk enUtled "Serve With a Coin-pete Coin-pete Heart will be given.
