Show City Court Activities Reported Appearing in Moab City Court on Oct. 5, were James J. Bethel, Charles P. Grimm and Scott D. Singer. The three were picked up last week and charged with three counts: transportation of narcotics, nar-cotics, possession of narcotic drugs, and possession of drugs for sale. The three were released re-leased after posting bond of $5,000 each. They are scheduled sched-uled to reappear for a preliminary pre-liminary hearing on Nov. 17, with their attorney, Phil Hansen Han-sen of Salt Lake City. Percy L. Benton appeared before the court on Oct. 12, on a charge of DWI and after af-ter pleading guilty was sentenced sen-tenced to $200 or 40 days in jail. He was granted time to pay the fine. Emmy May and Charles G. May appeared on Oct. 12 with Mr. May charged with DWI and his wife charged with being intoxicated in and around ar-ound an automobile. Both pleaded guilty. He was sentenced sen-tenced to a fine of $200 or 40 days in jail nd his wife was fined $50 or 10 days in jail. Larry Stankwick appeared on Tuesday on a charge of grand larceny. He requested time to make a short investigation investi-gation of the incident and was to reappear on Wednesday. |
