Show Student Affairs Firmly Controlled By Mevjly Elected Officer Groups Student government has been firmly planted in the hands of the studentbody. with the election of 19C9-70. class and club officers. Steve Boyden will be heading head-ing the class of 1970 as president, pres-ident, assisted by Liz Whitney, Whit-ney, class vice president. Tonya Scorzalo, secretaiy, along with Student Council representatives, Pam Mc-Farland Mc-Farland and William Pipkin complete the slate of Senior officers. Heading the class that is responsible for the biggest, event at GCHS, the Junior Prom, is class president, Marsha Leonard. Financial matters for the year will be handled by secretary, Bre-v da Brake. Heading the Junior Jun-ior delegation lo the Student Council this year will be 'vice president, Caroline Johnson, assisted by representatives, repre-sentatives, Sandra Bastiam and Janet Galbrahh. New to the high school this year, the Sophomores have .chosen as their president, Ross Newman, with Jon (Boyden as vice president.. Vicki Barker has been elected elect-ed class secretary with Jeff Whitney and Kim McDou- gald, representatives to the Student Council. Several club elections were also held last week. GCHS Lettermcn chose as their organization president, Senior Sen-ior Steve Robinson, with vice president, Robert Knight and secretary, Jim Dicker-son. Dicker-son. Students involved in the drama department elected Liz Whitney as 19S9-70 Thespian Thes-pian president, along with club vice president, Danny Buckingham; secretary, Dana Da-na Nordfelt and reporter, Jlionnie Wilson.
