Show Continuing Ed. Sign-up Held Open This Week Registration for Moab's Continuing Education Center Cen-ter was somewhat lower than what was hoped for. Only about 60 people have signed up for classes at the center thus far, according to director Tom Arnold. The center is still accepting applications ap-plications for classes and it will be the end of the week before final decisions are made as to which classes will be afforded and which will not. The following classes seem quitely likely to be offered at this time: Introduction to Business, General Economics, Econom-ics, English, Geology three and one P.E. class although which one is not certain. r Geomorphology, Economic Geology, Secondary Educa-liotnal Educa-liotnal Administration, da not seem to have a chance of being offered with only a small number of registrees. Math 35, English Literature, Secretarial Procedures, and Current Political Problems are rated as doubtful. Managing Man-aging Small Businesses will be taught winter quarter instead in-stead of this fall. Any person or group of people who wish to take any of these classes may still do so by contacting the Center at 58 North 1st East. Classes Class-es whose future is in doubt imay still be offered if enough en-ough people register before classes begin Sept. 29. |
