Show Literary Club Membership Tea This Saturday l m The Womans Literary Club of Moab, an affiliate of the Utah Federation of Women'; Clubs and the General Federation Federa-tion will hold their annual membership tea, Saturday, September 13th at 2 p.m. in the red, white and blue room of the Howard Balsley Hall of the Community Baptist Church. Chu-rch. New officers will be the hostesses for the meeting with Marjorie Munt, vice-president, as chairman of the event. The theme will be the Flag. All members are urged to attend and bring a potential new member. New ladies to Moab are welcome to attend. President Elma Lee Elder-kin Elder-kin has announced the appointment ap-pointment of Joan Shermer, as the chairman of the international interna-tional affairs committee. Home Life chairman is yet to be appointed. The fall meeting of the board of the eastern district, U.F.W.D., Jeanette Alpine, president will meet, October 11 at 9:30 a.m. at the Oasis Cafe, in Green River, Utah. The state project of U.F.W.C. is Drug and Alcohol Abuse. John Russel of the Recovery Center at Price, and Bill Howell of the Southeastern Southeast-ern Utah Alcohol and Drug Program will be speakers at the meeting.
