Show DOT Plans Meetings A round of meetings has been scheduled in Southeastern Southeast-ern Utah this week by the Utah Transportation Commission, and individual commissioners staff. On Wednesday evening, an area transportation planning meeting was conducted in Price by Commissioner Sam Taylor of Moab, supported by a number of staff members. On Thursday evening, a similar meeting was scheduled for Blanding. with the general public and officials of the four-county area invited to participate with suggestions on plans for dcvclopcing the various modes of transporta-, transporta-, tion in Southeastern Utah. On Friday morning, the full five-member Utah Transportation Transporta-tion Commission will meet in regular session in Monticcllo; will hear a report from a committee working out the details on a statewide airline network of third level carriers and air laxi operators, and will conduct such other business as may conic before it. later in the morning, the T r a n s p o r t a t i o n Co m m i s s i o n w ill meet in joint session with the Utah Traval Council Hoard, which will also be holding meetings in San Juan County. Problems of mutual concern, primarily the construction con-struction and stalling of new highway visitor centers, will he discussed at thai Hireling. I |
