Show Canyonlands Gets New Mtce. Chief A new position has been added to the Park maintenance mainten-ance staff, announces Bates E. Wilson, Superintendent of Canyonlands National Park. Mr. Joseph R. Miller, presently pre-sently employed at Bandelier National Monument in New; Mexico, will arrive at Canyonlands Can-yonlands in late February. He will be the new Chief of Maintenance for Canyonlands National Park, Arches and Natural Bridges National Monuments. This is a position posi-tion which has been sorely needed to meet the needs of a growing park complex, Mr. Wilson said. Mr. Miller previously worked work-ed in Grand Teton National Park before being assigned to Bandelier. His father, Cal Miller, was one-time a custod ian of Hovenweep and Yucca House National Monuments' in- the Four Corners area. He has a wife, Jeannine, and three daughters, ages 8, 9 and 11. |
