Show Former Utahn Named to 4-Corners Jbb Sen. Frank E. Moss, D-Utah, D-Utah, this week announced that Carl A. Larson, former resident of Salt Lake City, will resign his position at the U. S. Department of Agriculture Agricul-ture in May to join the Washington Wash-ington office of the Four Corners Cor-ners Regional Economic Development De-velopment Commission as a Regional Development Specialist. Spec-ialist. Sen. Moss described Mr. Larson as "a good friend of Utah and its citizens. I am happy that in his new duties as a regional development specialist he will work closely with Utah people in development develop-ment of agricultural and mining resources," Sen. Moss said. Mr. Larson has been Southwest South-west Area Director of the Agricultural Ag-ricultural Stabalization and Conservation Service since 1963, supervising work of ASC state and county committees in Utah and other Southwestern Southwest-ern states. He entered federal feder-al service as Administrator of the Agricultural Conservation Program Service in 1961. Before going to Washington, he was widely known throughout through-out Utah for his work as State Secretary and Insurance Manager of the Utah Farmers Union. |
