Show Services Held Tuesday for Donald Evans Donald Eugene Evans, 49, died at Allen Memorial hospital hos-pital Saturday, after a lingering linger-ing illness. Funeral services were held April 30 in the Church of St. Francis, Father Joseph Hog-ben Hog-ben officiating, with burial in Minturn, Colorado. Mr. Evans was born June 1. 1918 at Richwood, Virginia. He married Eula Virginia El liott June 17, 1944 at Minturn, Colo. He served in both World War II and the Korean War, and was awarded the bronze star and a citation and was discharged with the rank of master sergeant. Mr. Evans was a member of the Episcopal church of St. Francis in Moab. Survivors, in addition to his widow, are one son, Michael Elliott, Moab; and daughter, Linda Kay Evans, presently working in the city of Minneapolis, Minneap-olis, Minn. Other survivors include his mother, Mrs Blanch S. Evans of Idaho City, Ci-ty, Ida.; three brothers, Kenneth, Ken-neth, Glen and Keith; sisters, Jean Palmer, Kate Nelson, Ruth Elliott and Irene Kellogg. |
