Show LAST RITES HONOR SADIECHESLER Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie Brisk Chesler, 66, of 946 Fifth East St., Salt Lake City, formerly form-erly an active Bingham civic worker and businesswoman, were conducted Tuesday, June 12, at 10 a.m. at 574 East First So. St., Salt Lake City by Rabbi E. Louis Cardon, Congregation Monte-fiore. Monte-fiore. Mrs. Chesler passed away Thursday, June 7, at 5 p.m. at her residence of a heart ailment. A daughter of Louis and Annie Brisk, she was born March l, 1885, in Pierre, S. Dak. With her husband, the late Theodore M. Chesler, she operated the Princess Prin-cess theatre in Bingham for 26 years. She was a past worthy matron of Martha Chapter No. 7, Order of Eastern Star and was a member and past president of the Bingham Women's Civic Club. Mrs. Chesler was a member of Congregation Montefiore, Salt Lake City, and was also active in cancer drives and American Red Cross work in Bingham. Survivors include a son, Harold Har-old F. Chesler, Bingham; a brother, bro-ther, Max Brisk, Bingham; three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Goldberg, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Mary Brain, Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Esther Castle, Long Beach, Calif.; and two grandchildren. Interment was in Montefiore cemetery under direction of the Bingham mortuary. o |
