Show STEEL HEADS BEING GIVEN GENERAL TRYOUT Byron Hanchett, chief deputy to State Kish and liamo Commissioner Chambers for the fifth district, which includes the counties of Wayne, Emery, Mevier, Piute and Garfield, is visiting in fctalt Lake City on business connected with his work. Mr. Hanchett says that fishing in his district has beefr extra good this season and that it will be better next month. Mr. Hanchett will return to his district dis-trict tonight, and will take with bim 100,000 steel head and rainbow trout fry. The fry will be planted in the waters of the fifth district. The planting plant-ing of the steel heads, an eastern fish, is somewhat in the nature of an experiment, exper-iment, and if their growth ia satisfae-torr satisfae-torr more will be imported. State Deputy Joe Hinith returned last night front the Brighton lakes at the bead of the Cottonwoods, where he planted .50,000 of the steel head and rainbow fry. Mr. Hmith just had time to fish a few hours in Big Cottonwood ereek, but that wan enough . to convince con-vince him that "fishing is fine" in that stream. |
