Show C0MI fiiGBMY IS A NEW 0N 8 AN JOSE, Cal., July 14. With reference ref-erence to the bright comet located not far from the bright star Capella, a report re-port from Lick observatory, Mount Hamilton, states: "We have been observing that comet for several days. We have not found an orbit for it yet, however, and therefore there-fore cannot deiermine whether it is a new comet or an old visitor. It is probably prob-ably a new one. At the University of California they are now working on the orbit. The 'comet has about four degrees de-grees of tail. It is a telescopic object, not visible tn the naked eye at the present time because of the moonlight. Several photographic observations have been made." |
