Show FORMER COUNCILMAN HARCETTS IS DEAD A. BTMergetts, founder of Marietta' brewery, and one time member of the city council, died at St. Mark's hospital this morning, of euramia. He waa 42 years old, and ia anrvived by a widow. Mr. Margetta and hia wife lived at .321 North Second West street. The fnneral eervleca will be held at the twenty-second ward ehapel at 4 ,'.c!ock Thursday afternoon and burial will be in the city cemetery. ... In addition -to conducting the Mar getts brewerv, Mr. Margetta owned the Warm Springe saloon. He enjoyed a great degTee of popularity, and it ia said of him that he had sot an enemy or illwisher is the world. He waa terested in a quiet way in politica, and served one term in the eitv council several sev-eral veara ago. He never sought political politi-cal preferment, and would not run for office another time. He waa horn in this city October 23. 186B, and waa a eon of the late Richard B. and Catherine Sommers Margetta Thers were nn children. |
