This provoked sharp queries from Representative Fitzgerald of New York ana Richardson of Alabama, both Democrats, Demo-crats, as to what Mr. Henry meant bv such statements. "If the gentleman from Texas knows of any combination or influences at work on thia side he shou'd make such knowledge public," said Mr. Richard son. Mr. Henry did not know of any such combination, he said.
