Show JURY STILL OUT IN ARMSTRONG CASE The fate of Roy Armstrong, the negro charged with the murder of J. B. Brennan, is in the hands of the jury. Judge T. D. Lewis instructed the jurymen at 9 o'clock this morning, and at 10 o'clock the case went to tb jury. . No verdict has yet been returned. The attention of the court and jury was occupied until 10:30 o'clock last night in listening to the argument of the oppoaing counsel. Following the opening address of Assistant District Attorney P. T. Farnsworth, Jr., William Wil-liam Newton opened for the defendant. He was followed bv 8. A. King, who clossd the argument for the defense shortly before 10 o'clock last night. The closing argument for the etate was concluded by District Attorney E. O. Lestherwood at 10:30 o'clock, at which time Judge Lewi announced he would deliver oil instruction to the jury this morning. |
