At the meeting at which organization organiza-tion of the business men was perfected, per-fected, the following resolutions were adopted: ' Employ No L W. W. "Whereas, local conditions are be- eomipg intolerable through constant and unreasonable agitation on the part of the leaders of an organization known ss the Industrial Workers of the World: and, . . .'MVhereas, an unchecked tendency of such conditions means dancer to life and property and the ultimate destruction destruc-tion of mining and general business in the camp of Goldfield; therefore, be-it "Resolved, that, representing the commercial and mining interests of Goldfield, we hereby pledge ourselves to absolutely refuse to employ any man in any capacity who is a member of the Industrial Workers of the World; and, be it further "Resolved, that the mine owners will recognize any miners' union that is independent in-dependent of the Industrial Workers of the World in the Goldfield mining district, dis-trict, and that the" other business interests inter-ests and industries will recognize any employ members of separate craft organizations or-ganizations not affiliated with or under the jurisdiction of the Industrial Workers Work-ers of the World in the Goldfield 'mining 'min-ing district. " Resolved, further, that a copy of this resolution be immediately forwarded forward-ed to the miners', union and to the Industrial In-dustrial Workers of the World, that this action is irrevocable. "Resolved, that it is not the intent of this resolution to disturb, modify or change in any way the present conditions condi-tions of wages or hours now in effect in this camp."
