Show SONS OF AMERICAN REVOLUTION ELECT v NEW OFFICERS TODAY Washington's birthday was celebrated cele-brated by members of the Utah Society of the Sons of the American Revolution by an election of officers at an annual meeting in the rooms of the Commercial Commer-cial club today. The following were elected: Dr. E. D. Woodruff, president; Charles P. Crawford, vice-president; George J. Gibson, secretary; George Rust, treasurer; treas-urer; registrar, William D. Neal; historian, his-torian, Morris L. Ritchie; chaplain, Dr. E. V. Silver; board of managers, Fisher. Harris, Heber M. Wells, L. Frank Gardner, J. Walcott Thompson, , Frank B. Stephens. On the 300th anniversary an-niversary in February of the settlement settle-ment of Jamestown, the first white colony in what is now the territory of the United States, May 3, the society will hold a banquet. |
