Show , '.HAS FAITH IN COPPER. A. J. Orem of the Boston firm of A. J. Orem &.Co., who are heavily interested inter-ested in mining properties of Bingham and Yerington, is out from the East on one of his periodical trips. .He is a firm believer in the producers of copper, cop-per, and says without any hesitancy that all copper-producing ground is sure to enhance in value just as lone as developments de-velopments show the existence of ore in paving quantities. , The -recent flurry in the Eastern markets mar-kets gave capitalists an opportunity to get in at reduced, prices, nd as the market, mar-ket, reacted quickly,, a great many of these speculators took advantage of the opportunity to. .take down a profit. This probably has much to do with the present pres-ent low prices. Because of the stringency strin-gency in the money market the opinion prevails that there will hardly be any radical changes in the present market prices of the better ' class of copper stocks. However, it is confidently expected ex-pected that there will be very little if any decline in the present list. in the East there are many men with , ample capital who ' are gathering in many of the dividend-paying eoppers at the prevailing market prices. Quite naturally- it is thought that this move will be sure to hold the stocks firm to higher, .There, does not seem to be any reserved copper in sight, and it is the general impression that some of the larger buyers buy-ers for the raw material will have to get out into the open market1 shortly and. buy their supply. This will doubtless' doubt-less' have the effect of making a few points', difference in the settling price of the red metaL '. |
