Show BJLS. MINERS WIN2-L0SE1 Bingham 13, Judge 6 It was "B" day at Bingham last Friday as the loyal Binghamites gave the- big B on the hill a white washing and general going over. However, the hard working Miners Min-ers didn't confine their labors to the B, as they trounced the visiting visit-ing Judge Memorial nine 13 to 6. The win was pitcher Rudy Pino's first success of the season and it shoved the Miners into undisputed second place in ' the league standings. Bingham 21, Tooele 3 Monday afternoon the Miners once more walked over another team of Region Two, this time they swept Tooele off their feet before they could get started. Miners accounted for 21 runs a-gainst a-gainst 3 of Tooele's. The big guns for Bingham were Dick Jenkins, Phil Montoya and Bob Jenkins. Tooele's big gun was McFarland hitting two for three with one a homer. Montoya did excellent pitching with nine strike outs accounted. Bingham 11, Cyprus 22 Cyprus whitewashed Bingham 22 to 11 in Wednesday's tilt at the high school stadium at Copper- ton. For five innings it was a good ball game with the Miners leading 8 to 7. Cyprus pushed three over in the top of the sixth and the gates were open. The jittery Miners kicked the ball all over the lot while the Pirates pounded it at a merry clip to rack up their one sided victory. Culleton and Brown were outstanding out-standing for the Miners and Chipman, relief pitcher for Cyprus, Cyp-rus, was winning pitcher receiving receiv-ing five for five.
