Show 32,000 Finish Terms In Salt Lake Schools 2000 Upper Class Students Receive Diplomas as Scholastic Year Concludes School's out. Stockman address them in Kingsbury ball, while D. E. Hammond was principal apeaker at exercises In West high school auditorium. Gets Scholarship At Wsst high school, the Japa-Seae-Amerlcan Civic league presented present-ed Shinako Kawamura. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. Kawamura of T70 Sixth East street with a scholar-ahip scholar-ahip providing one quarter's tuition to any college or university in the United States or Japan. Violet Huffaker, daughter of Mrs. Freeman L. Huffaker of 311 Center Cen-ter street waa awarded a cash scholarship at West high school by the Italian-American Civic league. Also at West high school Mark B. Weed, son of Mr. and Mrs Floyd L. Weed of 113 Genesee avenue, received a medal of award and a gold watch for excellence in school and extracurricular activities, presented pre-sented by the Salt Lake Tribune. Waids M. Condon of tha Tribune made tha award. At South high school ths annual Bausch and Lomb honorary science award was presented to Nadine Knighton, daughter of Mr. and Mra. Joe Knighton of 43 Hollywood avenue. ave-nue. Scholarships presented by the school were swarded to Ray Christensen, Chris-tensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.
