One governor, C. A. Bottolfsea of Idaho, has accepted th invitation, George Sisler, commissioner of semi-pro semi-pro baseball, said today. Governor BottoKssa will throw ths first boll in a game at Payette, Idaho. Sisler estimated that 12,000,000 fans will attend the aandktt games and that more baaeball will be played on that day than ever before in hitory. Th semipro leagues havs started organising sarlier then usual this season, according to Sialer, who predicted pre-dicted that by May 15 more than 1000 circuits will be organised la the National Semipro association with all players under a national contract system. |
