Show Aggie Linemen Unable to Check Utes Long Enough to Get Plays Started , plays, even though Utah failed to srore right after the opening kick-off, kick-off, it was obvious that it would not be long until the Utes had a few touchdowns. The small A. C. linemen were not orriy unable to open holes for their backs, but were unable to hold the heavier and faster charging Utes long enough to get a play started. Much credit must be given the Aggie boys for their game fight in the face of heavy odds against them. They never ceased trying. There was never a question of doubt before or after the game that Utah was too strong for the Aggies and after the first few 4 plonship team and this year tha Aggies just didn't have it Utah seemed satisfied with the I score as it stood at the half, 21-0, and they really played halfhearted half-hearted and disinterested football during the remainder of the game. The use of a spinner play and straight football, with an occa- ' aional forward pass, was the simple sim-ple attack used by the Redskins. Fumbles cost Utah two more possible pos-sible touchdowns. It was clearly, evident that Coach Ike Armstrong was not attempting at-tempting to "rub it in." but was satisfied with the .27-0 score. . i ' ' |
