Show Popular Miss Plights Troth To J.F. Moore Basket of orchid and white Japanese chrysanthemums decorated deco-rated the First' Unitarian church Thanksgiving night when Miss Mary Catherine Burr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam 8. Barr, 366 Eleventh East street, plighted her troth with John Finis Moore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel F. Moore. t East Thirty-third South street. The ceremony, which was per- marked the wedding anniversary of the bride's parents. As the members of the two families fam-ilies and a few close friends of the young couple gathered for the service ser-vice an appropriate program of music was given by Miss Louise Pri.sk. organist, and Robert Fisher, cellist. The bridal party entered the church to the strains of the bridal chorus from "Lohengrin." The ushers ush-ers were Donald Moore and Shields Barr. Robert H. Wright was best man. The bride's attendant wore attractive at-tractive gowns of taffeta in pansy shades, fashioned alike with bouffant bouf-fant skirts, tight bodices and puff aleeves. Their sashes were of violet vio-let velvet and they carried old fanhioned bouquet of ess and via lets. Their headdresses, matching their frocks, were bands of velvet entwined with white rosebuds and violets. Their slippers also matched their frocks. The attendants were Miss Naomi Moore, who wore violet: vio-let: Miss Kathryn Louise Ford, in orchid, and Miss Jean Burnham. maid of honor, whose gown was of pinkish lavender. I , t i?nk.i t ii . .. . flower girl and wore a taffeta Kate Greenway frock. She carried a gold basket of rose petals. The bride, who was given in marriage mar-riage by her father, was charming in her wedding gown of ivory Spanish Span-ish lace over ivory taffeta, fashioned fash-ioned princess style with long train. An enveloping veil of tulle was caught to her coiffure with a cluster clus-ter of orange blossoms. She carried car-ried an arm bouquet of bride's roses and lilies of the valley. Mrs. Barr, mother of the bride, chose a gown of garnet colored velvet vel-vet with matching hat and corsage of white rones. Mrs. Moore, mother of the bridegroom, wore pansy colored col-ored crepe trimmed with silver lame, with matching hat and white rose Corsage. Mendelssohn's Wedding March SAa.-i the recessional. A large wedding reception followed fol-lowed at Eliot hall. The serving tahle was attractively covered with a Venetian lace cloth. A tiered wedding cake encircled with gar-lands gar-lands of pink rosebuds and freesias centered the table and crystal vases of pink butterfly roses completed the decorations. v Presiding at the table were Mrs. Harold H. Hills. Miss Luella Ma-haney, Ma-haney, Mrs. Edward F. Heim and Mrs. W. R. Forsell. Mrs. Rufus A. Tracy Jr., who was in charge of serving, was assisted by Miss Elizabeth Eliza-beth Both well.
