Show 'Navy Blue and Gold' Seen at Paramount Three rollicking midshipmen provide pro-vide as many triple threats in romance, ro-mance, drama and football In "Navy Blue and Gold," Saturday'a new attraction at-traction at the Paramount theater. Robert Young, James Stewart and Tom Brown head ths cast, with Florence Rice in the romantic lead and Lionel Barrymore playing a veteran Navy coach, long retired, but still activs in heart and spirit. The story centers about a midshipman mid-shipman who works his wsy up from a battleship to win a commission commis-sion at the academy, but is blocked when it is lesrned that he has enrolled en-rolled under sn assumed name. The story behind this circumstance and how the aituation is clesred up provides pro-vides a wealth of human interest, drama and suspense. Billie Burke, Samuel Hinds and Paul Kelly also have featured roles in the picture. A cast of hundreds appears in the big scenes, climaxed by an Army-Navy football game. A story of Booth, the assassin of President Lincoln, is told in a dramatic dra-matic featurette.
