Show Literary Club To Have Party A luncheon and Christmss party will be given by the Wasatch Literary Lit-erary club on Tuesday at the Civic Center. Luncheon will be aerved at 1 p. m. to members of the cldb. A short business meeting will follow, Mrs. L. L. Parry presiding. A Christmas program baa been planned, and a Christmaa message will be delivered by the Rev. Robert D. Steele. Mrs. H. E. Glers will have charge of the program, assisted assist-ed by Mrs. Ernest Urien. Thirty Girl Scout carolers will give three numbers under the direction of Miaa Margaret Dougall; Miss Cornelia Cor-nelia Benton will play a violin sola Excerpts from the pageant "Stranger "Stran-ger of Galilee," will be aung by the quintet from the L. D. 8. Fourth ward Ladies' Glee club, under direction direc-tion of Miss Ines Robinson Preece, with Miss Virginia Sperry. reader. The decorations will be carried out in silver and blue. Each member la requested to bring toys for the under-privileged children. These toys are to be turned over to the charity committee commit-tee of the Salt Lake district Federation Fed-eration of Women's Clubs to be used at the annual Christmaa party for these children. |
