Th big gun was Jim Sbilllag, rookie second hmaa, who collected collect-ed two homers. Th league leading Minneapolis Millers dropped a s-1 decision as th Kansas City Blues clouted four pitchers. Ed Heusser pitched Columbus to a 4-1 triumph over Indianapolis. Toledo took undisputed possession of second place by winning a double-header double-header over Louisville, T-i and S-s. The Mudhens held a half game advantage ad-vantage over Columbus.
