Show Capitol to Screen I Two Comedy Films An all-comedy bill coupling Joe E. Brown's new laugh hit, "Riding Ion Air," with a rollicking romantic comedy, "You Can't Beat Love," starring Preston Foster, opens Friday Fri-day at the Capitol theater. The current cur-rent program, Including "Slave Ship" and "As Good ss Msrrled," I closes tonight ! Cavern-mouthed Joe plays a vll- 1 lage live-wire in "Riding on Air," a screen version of the popular Elmer El-mer Lane stories by Richard Ma-caulay. Ma-caulay. Cast as a small-town newspaper news-paper editor who becomes sn alr- plane pilot in order to scoop his big-town rivals. Joe has one of his j most human and humorous roles. j Florence Rice plays opposite the star, with Guy Kibbee and Vinton I Haworth feautred. ; A wealthy young attorney who never backs down on a dare, aud- j denly finds himself running for mayor against his sweetheart's father fa-ther in "You Can't Beat Love."
