Show 'UNLOADED' GUN WOUNDS-FATAW Tht combination of boys and an "unloaded" sun Saturday had claimed another life aa John Pearson, Pear-son, 9, son of Mr. and Mn, Milo Pearson of West Jordan, died in a local hospital at 8:30 a. m. aa a result re-sult of a charge of shot which entered en-tered his right arm and chest July 6. Authorities were told he-acct-dent occurred when John was playing play-ing at the home of Glen and Junior Timothy, 11 and 9, respectively, while their parents were away from home. ' Junior took a shotgun from the house, but Glen returned with it inside the residence. Glen poked the murzle out of a window, placed a match head under the hammer and pulled the trigger, expecting only the flare of the sulphur. Instead, there was a loud report and John dropped to the ground. John was taken to a local hospital, where his right arm was amputated in an attempt to save his life. Apparently Ap-parently progressing nicely, he was sent home on July 25. About 10 days later, complications developed and he was returned to the hospital, where he remained until un-til his death. The boy Is survived by his par- ant. ' Pending funeral arrangements, the body was taken to the Lind-quist Lind-quist Sons-Carlquist mortuary, 2128 South State street. |
