Show 6 GIRLS AWAIT D. A. ..CONTEST PRICE Six girls, representing the high schools of the three Utah cities where Daughters of the American Revolution chapters are located, were slated to compete here Saturday for the honor of taking the annual two weeks' pilgrimage pil-grimage to Washington, D. C, with all expenses paid. They are Miss Ksthryn Snow of East high school. Salt Lake City; Miss Ruth Wlnterowd. South high school, Salt Lake City; Miss Dorothy Doro-thy Davis, West hsgh school, Sslt Lake City; Miss Fay Wheelwright, Ogden high school; Miss Helen Wadsworth. Weber high school In Ogden, and Miss Gsyle Cox of Helper, representing Carbon county coun-ty high school, A luncheon was scheduled for the girls shortly after noon by the Price Escalante chapter, D. A. R. Contest eliminations were slated to take place immediately following. follow-ing. It was announced by Mrs. D. L. Parmley, regent of the local .chapter. |
