OCR Text	Show NAZIS HOLD SICILY, BRITISH BELIEVE LONDON, .Tan. 15 GTV-Au-thnritatlve British government quarters Wednesday expressed the view that Germany had taken over iSicily and other Italian Mediterranean islands as bases for operations against the British fleet. I Thi view was further strengthened strength-ened by Tuesday's announcement that German planes were destroyed de-stroyed on the ground In the royal air force raid on Catania on the caster seacoast of Sicily. It is believed that the RAF and bombers of the fleet command com-mand tvill attempt to smash these new nazi bases before they become be-come too threatening to British safety in the middle east.
