Harline performed the wedding ceremony that . ted Miss Ida Elaine Hughes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. A. . Hughes, 2727 9th East, and Evan Lyle Mitchell, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Mitchell of Seattle, Friday evening in the Bryan LDS ward chapel. I For the ceremony and reception which followed at the church . thej bride wore a princess styled wedding gown of heavy slipper satin designed with long train and lace inset at the shoulder. -Her full length veil cascaded from a pearl tiara and she carried -an 'all-white bride's bouquet of rosebuds and chrysanthemums surrounding gardenias. Mrs. L. G. Drechsel attended as honor matron and Miss Bonnie Jean Hughes was maid of honor . . . attending ma- trons were Mrs. Donald C. Hughes and Mrs. Harold Burt Hughes. All carried bouquets of pink rosebuds and white chrys- anthemums. . Harold Burt Hughes acted as Mr. Mitchell's best ; man, and Donald Hughes and Lionel Drechsel were ushers. The couple left on a honeymoon trip to Seattle, where they . win make their home and where Mrs. Mitchell is a member of . the) nursing staff at Doctor's hospital. Mr Mitchell is attend- ing the University of Seattle engineering school. |
