OCR Text	Show Top Collegiate Skiers Vie At Sun Valley SUN VALLEY, Ida., Deo. 28 AP) Th nation's top college skiers slid down Baldy mountain today the cavalcade of 140 men and women leaving the poet one minute apart In th opening race of the fifth annual an-nual four-event Intercollegiate ski meet. A six-Inch fall of new powdered snow on top of 48 packed Inchea made for perfect conditions for the tournament, which will continue through Tuesday, For aa aiMlence the enthusiasts of th waxed alata had the cream of the Hollywood film colony plus a score or more persons representing Europe's and Park Avenue's best drawing rooms along with a smattering smat-tering of American industrialists. The downhill event today Inaugurated Inaugu-rated ,one of the heaviest winter sports programs ever scheduled at this resort which only recently reopened re-opened after four years duty aa a naval convaleaoent hospital. Climax of th program will be th Olymplo downhill and slalom tryouts here March S and 9.
