S. fisheries vessel Penguin plowed through Ice-clogged uncharted waters toward Umnak island today In an effort ef-fort to save the flickering life of Bishop Antonln, hardy leader of the Alaska Creek Catholic church and only white survivor of the itorm-smashed itorm-smashed motor ahip Umnak Native. Twenty days ago Bishop Antonln and three native were toaaad upon the beach at Nnanudak bay, a four- day trek around the frosen coast of ,. Umnak Island from human habtta- tion.
