Show Recruiting Office ' To Change Personnel The Salt Lake army recruiting office will undergo a complete change in personnel beginning February 20. it was announced Tuesday by officials offi-cials of the Ninth corps area recruit- ' ing division. Colonel Louis R. Burgess, newly appointed commanding officer of the recruiting service for this region. Is en route to Salt Lake from New York. He will succeed Captain T. A. Robinson Robin-son of the Thirty-eighth Infantry of Fort Douglas, who has been tempo- t- rarily in charge of the office. Sergeant George F. Smith, who has been at the local office since May, 1918, has been transferred to Spokane. Spo-kane. Wash. He has served twenty-five twenty-five years in the army and is due for retirement in January, 1939. Corporal Charles S. Greenwell will be transferred to Ogden and other members of the staff are awaiting word for announcement of their transfers. |
