Bert De Shazzo, alias Sweet, held here on two charges of forgery, and wanted In several sev-eral parts of the West for similar crimes, committed suicide In the Silver Bow county jail here last night. He was found by Jailer Harrington about 10 o'clock In the evening. Harrington had been attracted by the groans of the prisoner, pris-oner, whom he discovered writhing in agony on the floor. He had taken morphine, mor-phine, strychnine and cocaine in doses sufficient ot kill a horse. He hald told a certain prisoner at the jall.an acquaintance, ac-quaintance, that he had the poison and meant to take it. . Physicians were summoned and they worked with Sweet until S o'clock, when he died without having regained consciousness. con-sciousness. An inquest will be held tomorrow. to-morrow. Dr. Hanson, who worked with the prisoner, says his death was caused primarily by brain trouble, Induced by the poison, which had all been pumped out of him. Arraigned for Forgery. De Shazzo or Sweet was arrested here six weeks ago. after passing bad checks on local merchants. He pleaded guilty to one charge, but denied another. In Judge McClernan's court yesterday his counsel.
